DIESEL PILE HAMMERS
Diesel pile hammers low maintenance because they do not contain piston rods, crankshafts, cams or bearings.
AIR/STEAM PILE HAMMERS
Air-Steam Hammers apply steam or air pressure to the top of the piston upon upstroke valve turnover, enabling the stroke to be shorter. This makes a higher blow rate possible, which is advantageous in some situations.
HYDRAULIC IMPACT PILE HAMMERS
A hydraulic hammer is more environmentally friendly because it is a modern type of piling hammer that doesn’t require diesel and air hammers. It is an efficient way of driving steel pipes, precast concrete, and timber piles.
VIBRATORY PILE DRIVERS/EXTRACTORS
Vibratory Pile Drivers and Extractors is a technique in which piles are driven into the soil using a small longitudinal vibration motion. The motion is produced by a hammer with hydraulic motors. For more information visit one of your resources.
OFFSHORE PILE HAMMERS/EQUIPMENT
Offshore Pile Hammers and Equipment is a crane free pile driver that is suspended without a fixed leader that is used to complete offshore pile driving projects.
JET PUMPS
Jet Pumps for pile driving is a state-of-the-art technology that is very effective at saving time. It can be used to drive both vertical and batter piles.
SMALL DOCK BUILDING PILE EQUIPMENT
Small Dock Building Pile Equipment frequently allows homeowners to build small docks and boathouses at their residences. The docks require different materials depending on the region.
DRILLING EQUIPMENT
The Drilling Equipment needed for the creation and installation of docks may require the ability to dredging and excavation, building of levees and water control structures to acquire the right drilling equipment a good marine construction is critical.
DRILL RIGS
Drill Rigs are a tool that digs holes in the earth’s subsurface. They are generally very large structures that houses equipment used craftsmanship of residential docks, commercial docks, sea walls, and boat lifts.
DRILLING ACCESSORIES
These heavy-duty specialty tools are offered in pneumatic, electric and hydraulic powered varieties. The type of tools required is determined by the specifications of the job.
CONCRETE PUMPS & GROUTING EQUIPMENT
Concrete Pumps & Grouting Equipment are used because they are the most efficient, reliable and economical ways to place concrete. Sometimes this is the only way of getting concrete to the location where you need to place it in.
CRANES – CRAWLER
A crawler crane offers a mobile yet stable that can lift about 40 to 3,500 short tons. A crawler crane can also travel with a load. to transport a crawler crane, you should break it down to the boom and cab before moving it to its next location.
CRANES – RINGER
A Ringer Crane, a form of large construction cranes, is identified by its luffing jib and its slew pivot. These cranes are used either when huge single lifts are essential, or when the ability to perform such lifts would accelerate a construction project sufficiently to make the use of such a specialized crane cost effective.
CRANES – HYD., RT, TRUCK
HYD, RT, TRUCK Cranes are a piece of heavy-duty equipment that is used for lifting and hoisting. Hydraulic cranes include an internal hydraulic system that allows the crane to lift heavier loads. It uses a fluid-filled hydraulic system that enables the crane to transport objects such as heavy shipping containers and tractor trailers, which are well beyond the size and scope of any other lifting device.
HOISTS & WINCHES
Hoists and Winches are used to lift and pull heavy loads during a marine construction project. The hoists lift the loads which are sometimes consider dead weight, and they can be locked to allow the loads to hang if the job requires that. Winches pull the load on to a level surface using a dynamic brake that can slide.
BARGES
Barges are long boats that have a flat-bottom and are used to carry heavy loads. Under its power or being towed by another, they can typically be found on canals and rivers.
SECTIONAL BARGES
Sectional Barges are long boats with a flat bottom but smaller in comparison to the typical barge. It is portable and was designed to get into places where the more massive barges couldn’t.
JACK-UP BARGES
Jack-Up Barges are the most common type of rig, made with three or four long support legs that are raised to an operating height above sea level or lowered onto the ocean bed. It is maneuvered by self-propelling or towing with its legs up and the hull floating on the water.
CRANE/BARGE MATS
Crane/Barge Mats are made to provide ground stabilization under the weight of large construction sites or even layer under oil rig cranes. When working with cranes, it is this ground stabilization that is critical.
PUSHBOATS, TUGS & LCM’S
Pushboats, Tugs & LCM’s are types of boats that move barges to their designated detestation. The Tugboat is a powered vessel that either pulls (tows) another ship or pushes/guides another vessel tied its side has a pointed bow. A Pushboat typically only pushes another boat and has a square bow.
CREW & SUPPLY BOATS
Crew and & Supply Boats are vessels that transport offshore support personnel, deck cargo, below-deck cargo. Supply boats are used to tow offshore platforms to a designed location and assist in anchoring them or transporting supplies and people to offshore drilling rigs or maritime vessels. Crew boat transport to and from offshore installations, that include, oil platforms, drilling rigs, drill and dive ships or wind farm. They are known as active support vessels or fast supply vessels.
THRUSTERS – PROPULSION UNITS
Thrusters-Propulsion Units is the system that is used to generate thrust to move a vessel across the water. Most modern ships are propelled by a mechanical system containing an electric motor or engine that is turning a propeller. In less frequent, in the pump-jets, there is an impeller.
DREDGES
Dredges are potent machines that remove or dredges up the earth, such as from the bottom of a river, to deepen the waterway by use of a scoop or buckets on an endless chain or a suction tube.
BUCKETS, GRAPPLES, ETC.
Buckets, Grapples, ETC. are instruments used to lift material from a channel or riverbed. Buckets and Grapples, such as on an excavating machine, are often consisting of several hooks that use these prongs for holding and grasping these objects.
RIGGING
Rigging is a ship’s system of ropes, cables, or chains supporting, controlling or setting the arrangement of masts, the standing rigging, or yards and sails, the running rigging.
PILE DRIVING
A Pile Driving is a machine for driving piles into the ground. It is composed of a tall framework where a weight is lifted and dropped onto the pile head, or it’s where a steam hammer drives the pile.
PILE CUTTING
Pile Cutting is one of the more challenging parts of the construction. It is a device that is capable of cutting and removing piles used when constructing a deep foundation substructure.
UNDERWATER – DIVING GEAR
Underwater-Diving Gear is equipment that is independent of surface supply air, done by carrying their source of breathing gas resulting in the diver being able to breathe underwater. This equipment allows for greater independence and freedom in movement and longer underwater endurance.
SAFETY GEAR/EQUIPMENT
Safety Gear/Equipment in the marine construction area are mostly worn as personal protective equipment in day to day business. Some of these include but are not limited to, protective clothing, helmet, safety shoes, safety hand gloves, goggles, ear muff/plug, safety harness, face mask, chemical suit, and welding shield.
