STEEL SHEET PILING

Sheet piles are steel sheet materials that have interlocking edges. These are driven into the ground and provide support for marine structures.

STEEL H-PILING

H-Piles are durable steel beams that are designed to exceptional support marine structure when driven into rock or difficult soil.

STEEL PIPE PILING

A steel pipe is utilized in marine construction when it is driven into the ground with large impact hammers. These steel piles can handle very heavy loads and if the right steal is used it is virtually impervious to environmental conditions.

CONCRETE PILING

Concrete piles are the best solution when constructing a relatively heavy structure on weak or poor quality soil. Fr this reason, concrete piles are frequently reinforced.

COMPOSITE PILING

Structural composite materials are an efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to steel sheet piling in marine structures. Since these piles are made out of fiberglass, it is critical to make sure you are going with an incredibly reputable dealer to ensure the stability of your structure.

COMPOSITE SHEET PILING

Composite Sheet Piling offers a fiberglass sheet pile retaining wall structure for waterfront applications where environmental considerations require a sheet pile wall structure that will not rot, decay, rust or spall.

TEMPLATE SYSTEMS

Template systems are designed to make the construction process timely and efficient. These templates eliminate the need to reinvent methods and all for the rapid expansion of projects.

PILE WRAPS – RESTORATION

Pile wraps help protect piling materials from marine borers. They are usually made of high-density polyethylene material.

TIMBER PILING

Wood pilings are used to build long-lasting foundational structures on land and in water. You just have to ensure that these are the best solution for your project after reviewing the environment and soil conditions.

CRANE MATS

Crane Mats are ground stabilizing and as such they are a critical tool to utilize when working with a crane. They are also known as timber mats or heavy equipment mats.

COATED PILING – POLYMERS, ETC.

Polymer coated can be applied to select portions of a wood piling in order to offer protection to the area where failure is most likely to occur. This is usally at the water or ground line.

TIMBER SHEET PILING

Timber sheet piling is often used for temporary structures. The pilings are connected together by tongue and groove joints. These materials are best used in soils that do not contain stones.

MARINE LUMBER/TIMBER

Marine Lumber/Timber is a treated material used to build docks and decks. They are traditionally available in a variety of grades and sizes to meet the needs of the structure being built.

FENDER SYSTEMS

Fender systems protect marine structures and ships from damage during berthing and mooring periods.

DECKING – WOOD & TROPICAL HARDWOOD

Decking consists of laying boards on top of load bearing timbers above ground. Using tropical wood adds an exotic appearance and helps create an inviting outdoor space.

DECKING – COMPOSITE, VINYL, ETC.

Composite and vinyl decking is a great low maintenance budget-friendly material to utilize when creating a deck.

TIE-RODS

Tie rods are often used in steel structures, such as bridges and cranes. They are also used in ships to keep the whole engine structure compressed. They allow running gears to stay properly aligned which prevents fretting.

BOAT LIFTS

Boat lifts are crucial to the lifespan of your watercraft and related equipment. It doesn’t matter where you are located, how large your boat is or what body of water you sail on, a boat lift will extend the life of your boat.

FLOATING DOCKS

A floating dock is traditionally a platform that is supported by pontoons. It is usually joined to the shore with a gangway. The dock is held in place by vertically embedded pilings in the seafloor, sometimes they are held by anchored cables.

FIXED DOCKS

Fixed docks offer a stable solution for boats. Fixed dock also can off water access for fishing or swimming.

HARDWARE

When completing a marine construction project, you will find you need varies types of marine hardware, including but not limited to hinges, latches, deck hardware, dock hardware, eye bolts, and straps.

GANGWAYS

A gangway is a great solution to help you reach your floating or fixed dock. They are offered of a variety of configurations that are all designed to give you better access to your dock so you can get to your watercraft faster.

DOCK POWER PEDESTALS

Dock Power Pedestals offer versatile electrical power pedestal units to meet the needs of both commercial and residential shores. They can provide all of the electrical equipment docks need in one small unit.

LIGHTING – DOCKS & PIERS

Dock lights offer patterns that are important in a marina because it lights both on the dock and finger piers, yet does not shine in the boats since it’s directed downward.

LIGHTING – TUG, BARGE & NAVIGATIONAL

Tug, Barge and Navigation lights are used to prevent collisions. At night and at times of reduced visibility, these are essential safety tools.

PILING ACCESSORIES

Piling accessories are essential for proper pilings work. These accessories include Coated Piles, Points, Splicers, Pile Connectors, Fabricated Corners and Joint Sealant, just to name a few.

Marine Construction Magazine Logo Marine Construction® Magazine publishes Six (6) Issues per year, once every 2-Months. We are by no means your typical publication. With over 30,000 readers, we pride ourselves on covering the topics of “actual usefulness” to our readers. Yes, we are a little unorthodox but…we like it like that. The bottom line is, if you are in the Marine Construction or related industry…you’ve come to the right place.
