SFT has supplied a fully customized roller fender solution to a floating pontoon in Singapore. Challenged with an exposed location, currents, swell and choppy waters, this pontoon and its fenders have to perform 24/7.

With the extra cushioning on SFT´s Cushion Rollers, the main impacts can be dampened while the pontoon is rolling up and down with the swell and tides. On the backside of the pontoon clamp, two rollers fitted into a roller swing ensure that tilting movements of the pontoon are accommodated, and loads are always equally shared.

SFT Cushion Rollers feature low abrasion on coatings, maintenance-free bearings and a very low noise level. The swing, its support, and also the housing of the cushion rollers are all made from marine grade stainless steel to provide longest possible lifetime.
