Doleco USA, a manufacturer of lifting sling and load-securing technologies, announced the market release of its DoRa Gen 2 Ratcheting Load Binder.

The company stated the DoRa Gen 2 features engineering improvements that deliver 33 percent faster tensioning and de-tensioning and enhanced, patent-pending safety mechanisms.

The DoRa Gen 2’s re-engineered thread pitch advancement enables operators to achieve four millimeters of spindle movement per 360-degree rotation instead of three, resulting in 33 percent faster tensioning and release times. The improvement reduces the physical effort and time required for both initial load securing and periodic re-tensioning during transport.

The DoRa Gen 2 incorporates safety features including visual marking indicators and an unscrewing protection mechanism.

As operators extend the internal spindle, visual markers alert them when approaching maximum extension, while the mechanical lock prevents complete spindle separation — eliminating the potentially hazardous situation of bent spindles, or having to reassemble separated components in the field.

“Drivers often over- or under-estimate a binder’s reach because they’re unsure how far they can extend it,” explained Ralph Abato, president and managing director of Doleco USA. “Our patent-pending system provides clear visual indicators and mechanical protection, allowing operators to utilize the full extension range without risk of spindle overextension or potential deformation.”

Doleco USA products are available in the U.S., Canada and Mexico through the company’s Master Distributor network, which includes over 6,000 distribution points.
