Green Bay Decking Announces New Marina Product Division

Apr 11 2022 NEWS Comments Off on Green Bay Decking Announces New Marina Product Division 525 Views

Green Bay Decking LLC is proud to announce the introduction of our National Dock & Marina Division to service the growing dock and marina-based composite decking sector through our nationwide network of dedicated dealers and distributors. The new division will provide a direct channel through which dock and marina suppliers and installers can connect with Green Bay Decking, manufacturer of quality composite decking products I.Dekk, DuxxBak, OPTIMA Deck, and Indura Deck.

The new National Dock & Marina Division will provide product, sales, and installation information to downstream partners, focusing on the unique composition of GBD’s high-performance, low-maintenance decking products, which boast “the lowest moisture absorption rate of any composite decking product in today’s market,” said Jeremy Reinke, sales manager of the division.

“Our unique product composition, which contains no wood and no PVC, is ideal for moisture-rich environments,” said Reinke. “The marina industry—both commercial and residential—has long been searching for an alternative to wood-plastic-composite (WPC) and PVC decking materials, both of which suffer from environmental exposure. Our comprehensive offerings answer the extreme challenges of the marine environment not only with our bullet-proof compound, but also with a unique product line for each type of marine application—whether commercial or residential.”

Reinke said Green Bay Decking’s DuxxBak no-dripthrough- decking is perfect for covered docks and boat houses, in that it allows the dock roof to double as a sun-deck, protecting the area below from water and debris without the need for a secondary drainage system. For commercial applications with heavy traffic, Reinke says the “Classic Commercial Board” fits the bill, being both lightweight and able to span joists at up to 24 inches on center.

Green Bay Decking CEO Jerry Derusha said, “Not only is our product line uniquely suited to withstand the brutal elements of the marine environment, but when you also consider the earth-friendly sustainability of our rapidly renewable compound ingredients, you end up with a Green answer to a long-standing problem.”

A privately-held company based in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Green Bay Decking has been developing and producing top-quality decking, railing, and outdoor living products since its inception in 2009. Currently offering five lines of decking and three lines of railing, Green Bay Decking products are available worldwide through traditional distribution networks or direct from manufacturer where traditional distribution is not available. Featuring decking products that boast best-in-industry performance and warranty, Green Bay Decking products are environmentally stable. and are manufactured using only ecologically sound ingredients.
